Lemon Water

Lemon Water

Revitalise your body each morning with lemon water, it’s a super way to hydrate, purify and revitalise.

All our drinking water passes through a mega filtration system, which during the process looses its vitality, by adding in anything fresh you wake up the water back to it’s living structure, this allows it to travel deep in the body carrying its essential nutrients to the cell and tissues, helping us to thrive each and every day!

Adding 1/2 a lemon squeezed with 16o of water daily to your morning ritual will come with a number of benefits. The mornings are always best, on an empty stomach to flush out all of the toxins from the body that the liver would have realised the night before, preferably try and wait at least 15 minutes before consuming anything else.

Having said that, lemon water is excellent for hydration at any time of the day, if you can add it to your routine 2-3 times a day or more it would be great. It’s important that the water is room temperature or cold, hot is not ideal and won’t give the same benefits.

Lemon water is excellent for

weight loss, the immune system, alkalizing the body, controlling high blood pressure, anti-aging, detoxification, purifying the blood, regulating body temperature

Lemon water is a great form of vitamin C & B and minerals such as calcium and magnesium, it's particularly beneficial for the digestive tract and can help relieve constipation, nausea, and even parasites.

Lemon water is also good for the cardiovascular and muscular system making it an ideal drink before and after exercise.

It has the added benefit of helping to break up any sediment and stones in the gallbladder, allowing for bile production in the liver to increase, hydrochloric acid levels in the gut to rise, and reduction of the bad acids that cause acid reflux.

Worried about your teeth?

Unfortunately, there is a lot of misinformation out there about lemons, which has sadly made people afraid to consume them.

Lemons do not cause teeth to decay and are actually excellent for oral health, they are loaded with calcium and are highly mineralizing, they kill off the bacteria in your mouth that causes the teeth to decay.

Although lemons taste very acidic, they are highly alkalizing in your mouth and body.
